VIKING SAGA
MALDON
The VIKING SAGA - MALDON
Built in 1947, at Wallasea Island, commissioned by Eric Albert and Arthur Cardy "SONNY". She has survived a continuous working life and operated on the River Blackwater at Maldon, the Wallet at Clacton on Sea, the River Clyde at Dumbarton and also at Tenby in Wales.
She is now back at her original birth place and in the hands of the CARDY family once more. She's like family to us and is now the eldest, highly respected and much loved member.

Through her registration with the NRHV, the Viking Saga was granted permission to deface her Majesty's Red Ensign Flag. The Certificate is on display in the Bar Lounge, this enables the emblem of the NRHV to take pride of place on the Red Ensign.
This is exactly what it says. Permission to deface the Queen's flag.
