VIKING SAGA
MALDON
40 MINUTE RIVER TRIP
The JETTY at the end of the Promenade before Hythe Quay. This is a long floating Jetty which enables you to board the Viking Saga at very low tides, when she is the only boat afloat at this end of the Blackwater. The Jetty is locked during excursions so mobility vehicles can be left at your own risk.
Due to her flat bottom, the Viking Saga is able to operate earlier than any other vessel.

NO BOOKINGS NECESSARY
Just turn up at the Jetty before Hythe Quay on the Promenade, Maldon to board for a 40 minute River Trip.
You will take in the sights of the Prom, Heybridge Basin, Northey Island and Millbeach before turning to return via FullBridge; passing the Thames Barges at the Quay, Maldon Salt Works, the old John Sadd's Wharf with Green's Mill, the new apartments along with the dry dock, boathouses and boat yards that occupy this end of the river that you never normally see.
TWO ISLAND CRUISES
BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL!!
More than twice the duration of the River Trip. The Two Island Cruise takes you past Millbeach to beyond Osea Island, taking in the views of Maylandsea Creek, Stansgate, Steeple Stone, St Lawrence Bay with Bradwell on Sea on the horizon. Returning via the sandy beaches of Osea Island along to Fullbridge (sights that you will only see onboard the Viking) before pulling alongside the Jetty. Skipper, Noddy, gives an informative and humourous commentary on the sights that you behold.
Moored at her new home at Bradwell on Sea
The Hydrogen. A view you will rarely see from the Promenade as they tend to motor up to the Hythe Quay.
An extremely grand looking property.
